Square Base Geometry
50 × 50 mm square base, 0.5 mm thick, with openings for the pin adhesive.
Specify a stainless steel insulation pin with a perforated square base for the required bonding or embedding system.
Available in SS304 and SS316, the square base includes openings that allow the specified adhesive, mastic or embedding material to engage with the mounting plate. Confirm the stainless steel grade, pin dimensions, base size and installation method for the application.
Quotation is based on the confirmed stainless steel grade, pin and base dimensions, fixing method and quantity.
Materials & dimensions
Confirm SS304 or SS316 together with the pin diameter, pin length and square base dimensions. Share the mounting surface, insulation thickness and intended bonding or embedding method so the complete specification can be reviewed before quotation.
| Stainless steel grade | SS304 / SS316 |
|---|---|
| Diameter | 2.7 / 3 mm common; 3.4 / 4 mm custom |
| Length | 19–500 mm |
| Base Shape | Square |
| Square base dimensions | 50 × 50 mm |
| Base Thickness | 0.5 mm |
| Common pin lengths | 50 / 63 / 110 / 114 / 419 mm |
Product details
The perforated square base provides a defined mounting area around the pin. Its openings allow the specified bonding or embedding material to pass through or around the plate as part of the fixing system.
50 × 50 mm square base, 0.5 mm thick, with openings for the pin adhesive.
Confirm the connection method, joint geometry and whether the pin and base use the same stainless steel grade.
Holding strength depends on the complete combination of base, adhesive and substrate, so no fixed load value is stated. Confirm the combination for your project.
Compatibility
Perforated square base pins form part of a complete fixing method. Performance depends on the stainless steel grade, base geometry, bonding or embedding material, mounting surface, insulation and installation conditions.
These pins are fixed with a dedicated pin adhesive, not welded. IFS supplies the pins only: the adhesive is sourced separately and must be compatible with both the stainless steel base and the substrate. Surface preparation, coverage, application thickness, pressure and setting time should follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
Order planning
SS304 and SS316 products should be identified clearly when both grades are included in the same shipment.
Lead times, documentation and packing details are confirmed with the quotation and order.
Before you order

SS304 and SS316, normally with the base and pin in the same grade.
Pin diameters of 2.7 and 3 mm as standard, with 3.4 and 4 mm made to order, in lengths from 19 to 500 mm on a 50 × 50 × 0.5 mm base. Common lengths are 50, 63, 110, 114 and 419 mm.
No. They are fixed with a dedicated pin adhesive. IFS supplies the pins only; the adhesive is sourced separately.
When the project specifies stainless steel or the installation needs corrosion resistance. SS316 is commonly chosen for more corrosive environments.
Include the grade, pin diameter, length, mounting surface, adhesive system and quantity.
