About IFS
Small components. Lasting responsibility. Meet the people and the manufacturing experience behind Insulation Fastening Solutions.
Discover our story ↓What makes an insulation system reliable over the long run?
Early in our work in insulation, we witnessed an incident in which poor-quality insulation pins failed. The insulation came loose, fell, and injured people. It was a moment that stayed with us.
We began to look differently at a product that is easy to overlook. A pin may be small, but it helps hold the insulation system in place. Its performance matters to the people who install, operate, and work around that system.
From our first production machine, we chose to put quality ahead of the lowest price. That decision still guides the way we manufacture today.
The people behind IFS
Alan’s focus on developing IFS builds on the factory team’s manufacturing experience. The team stays close to the products and to the customers who use them.
Manufacturing knowledge and customer requirements stay in the same conversation.
Customers can discuss drawings, specifications, and production needs with people who understand the products.
We treat product quality and customer relationships as responsibilities that continue after an order is placed.
Our manufacturing
Reliable fasteners start with control over the details. We manage each stage of production with the finished application in mind.
We review material selection, product structure, dimensions, riveted joint strength, and surface finish according to the product requirements.
Quality checks take place throughout production so problems can be identified before products are packed and shipped.
Our factory operates more than 20 automated production lines, with monthly capacity exceeding 7 million insulation fasteners.
Stable production helps us respond to different order quantities and keep delivery schedules more predictable.
Relationships through the years
These photos document our factory team’s customer relationships before the company behind IFS was established in August 2026. The experience and trust built through those visits now inform the way we work at IFS.
In 2016, while our factory was still in its early years, a Canadian customer came to see our production firsthand. After the visit, the customer placed an order for 40 million insulation locking washers, a significant vote of confidence in our product quality.
The photograph was taken at our family home after the factory visit. We still keep it framed: a reminder of an early relationship and the responsibility that came with earning that trust.
Three customers from Egypt visited our factory in the winter of 2025. Their visit gave us the chance to discuss our products and equipment face to face, right where the manufacturing takes place.
They purchased machines we had designed, along with insulation pins. The visit reflects the value of bringing manufacturing experience, equipment, and fastening products into the same conversation.
In July 2026, a customer from South Korea visited to discuss insulation caps. Those conversations led to a long-term partnership.
This photograph was taken at the location the customer had specified, away from our factory. It records a personal moment in a relationship that began with a conversation about the right product.
