Phenolic boards are used where a thin board needs to deliver high insulation performance, including HVAC ductwork, building walls and roofs, and equipment enclosures.
Depending on the substrate, boards can be bonded or mechanically fixed. On metal ductwork and panels, insulation pins with washers are a common fixing method; confirm the method for your application.
