Glass wool, also known as fiberglass insulation, is a lightweight fibrous insulation used for thermal and acoustic insulation in buildings, HVAC systems and industrial equipment. Boards and rolls are supplied at 48 kg/m³, and other sizes can be made to order.

Glass wool boards and rolls are commonly used on HVAC ductwork, air-handling units, steel structures, walls and partitions where thermal and acoustic insulation is needed.
On metal surfaces, the insulation is typically held with insulation pins and washers: CD weld pins welded to the steel, or self-adhesive pins where welding is not suitable, with self-locking washers holding the insulation in place.
IFS manufactures the pins and washers and supplies pin welding machines, so the insulation and its fixings can be quoted together. Share the substrate and insulation thickness so the pin length and washer can be matched.

Which glass wool forms are available?

Yes. Wrapping with aluminium foil or other refractory covering materials can be discussed. Confirm the piece dimensions and covering specification.
Can you supply the pins to fix glass wool?
Yes. IFS manufactures insulation pins and self-locking washers and supplies pin welding machines, so the insulation and its fixings can be quoted together.
