Perforated base pins
A perforated base uses a formed metal plate with regularly arranged openings. Confirm the plate shape, hole pattern, dimensions and thickness against the intended adhesive, mastic or embedding method.
Choose a perforated or mesh base pin for insulation fixing systems that require the bonding material to engage with the base.
The pin is attached to a formed metal base with openings that allow the specified adhesive, mastic or embedding material to pass through or around the base. Select the base structure, pin material and dimensions for the installation method and insulation thickness.
Quotation is based on the confirmed base style, material, dimensions, fixing method and quantity.
Materials & dimensions
Confirm the perforated or mesh base design together with the pin material, diameter and length. Share the insulation thickness, mounting surface and intended bonding or embedding method so the complete specification can be reviewed before quotation.

Product details
Perforated and mesh bases provide open areas through which the specified bonding or embedding material can engage with the mounting plate. The correct option depends on the installation method, surface and project specification.
A perforated base uses a formed metal plate with regularly arranged openings. Confirm the plate shape, hole pattern, dimensions and thickness against the intended adhesive, mastic or embedding method.
A mesh base uses an open metal mesh around the pin. Confirm the mesh dimensions, opening size, wire dimensions and edge structure for the specified bonding or embedding material.
Installation Requirements
Perforated and mesh base pins are selected as part of a complete fixing method. Performance depends on the base geometry, bonding or embedding material, mounting surface, insulation and installation conditions.
The bonding material must be compatible with both the base and the substrate. Surface preparation, application thickness, coverage, setting time and service conditions should follow the confirmed material instructions.

Order planning
Packaging should protect the pin straightness, base shape, perforations and mesh edges during transport and storage. Confirm carton limits, separators, pallet or wooden case requirements and custom labelling before production.
Lead times and packing details are confirmed with the quotation and order.
Before you order
Share your specification, quantity and any welding or documentation requirements.
Both have a 50 × 50 mm square base with openings for the bonding material. The perforated base is a 0.35 mm plate with 3 mm holes; the mesh base is 0.3 mm with 3.8 mm openings.
Perforated base: 2.3 or 2.7 mm aluminium, or 3 mm galvanized or copper-plated steel. Mesh base: 2.3 mm aluminium. Stainless steel pins and bases can be made to order.
19 to 500 mm. Confirm whether the length is measured from the top surface of the base.
The base is bedded in an adhesive, mastic or embedding material that passes through the openings. Choose a material compatible with the base and the substrate, and follow its instructions.
Include the base style, pin material, diameter, length, mounting surface, bonding method and quantity.
