Flat base
The flat base provides a simple mounting surface for the adhesive layer. Confirm the base shape, dimensions, metal thickness and adhesive coverage before ordering.
Attach insulation to suitable surfaces without welding or drilling.
Self adhesive pins combine a metal pin with an adhesive-backed base. Choose a flat or ribbed base, then confirm the pin material, diameter, length and base dimensions for the installation surface and insulation.
Quotation is based on the confirmed pin material, base style, dimensions, adhesive requirement and quantity.
Materials & dimensions
Confirm the pin material, diameter and length together with the base style and base dimensions. Share the insulation thickness and mounting surface so the complete combination can be reviewed before quotation.

Product details
Both base styles combine an adhesive-backed mounting plate with an insulation pin. Final suitability depends on the confirmed surface, adhesive system and installation conditions.
The flat base provides a simple mounting surface for the adhesive layer. Confirm the base shape, dimensions, metal thickness and adhesive coverage before ordering.
The ribbed base adds formed features to the mounting plate. Confirm the rib layout, base dimensions and adhesive arrangement against the production drawing or sample.
Holding performance depends on the mounting surface, adhesive coverage and installation conditions. Test data for a specific combination can be discussed with your enquiry.
Installation Requirements
Self adhesive pins depend on contact between the adhesive base and the mounting surface. The surface should be reviewed for material, finish, cleanliness, flatness and operating conditions before installation.
Order planning
Pins should be packed to protect the adhesive layer, release liner, pin straightness and base shape during transport and storage. Confirm labelling, carton limits, pallet or wooden case requirements, and any storage instructions before production.
Lead times, shelf life and storage conditions are confirmed with the quotation and order.
Before you order
Share your specification, quantity and any welding or documentation requirements.
No. The adhesive-backed base is pressed onto a clean, suitable surface, so no welding or drilling is needed. Check the surface material, finish and cleanliness before installation.
Yes. Self adhesive insulation pins are also called stick pins or insulation hangers, depending on the market.
Diameters of 2.3, 2.7, 3 and 4 mm and lengths from 19 to 500 mm on a 50 × 50 mm base. Aluminium pins are 2.3 or 2.7 mm, galvanized steel 3 or 4 mm, and stainless steel 3 mm.
An acrylic adhesive covering almost the full base, protected by a white or yellow release liner about 1 mm thick. A 3M adhesive option can be supplied to order.
Both carry the same adhesive layer. The ribbed base has formed features in the mounting plate; confirm the rib layout against a sample or drawing.
Include the pin material, diameter, length, base style, mounting surface, insulation thickness and quantity.
